XPERIA Arc, With Gingerbread, Bravia Mobile Engine and New Camera Sensor


XPERIA ArcThrough the event the Consumer Electronics Show 2011, Sony Ericsson officially launched the XPERIA Arc. As the first mobile phone which was launched at this year’s Sony Ericsson XPERIA Arc recorded quite promising.

How could I not, with an ergonomic design, which made a bit warped, plus a thickness of only 8.7 mm. As a result, will feel comfortable in the hand. For operating systems, mobile phones which initially rumored as the series “Anzu” or “X12”, carrying the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. As a result, Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc is the first phone to adopt Android Gingerbread.

Another advantage of the XPERIA Arc is its screen technology, which has been embedded FWVGA based capacitive touch screen (854×480 pixels). Sony Ericsson calls this technology as ‘Reality Display’. In order to protect the screen from scratches, on the surface of the LCD has been coated materials ‘mineral glass’. Also present Bravia Engine Mobile technology to support the side of the screen, which will improve the quality and sharpness of images.

Next on the camera. XPERIA Arc equipped with 8 MP camera, with the newest ‘backlit’ sensors labeled “Sony Exmor R”, which can record 720p HD quality video. To improve the performance of the camera in low light conditions, added to f/2.4 lens on the  XPERIA Arc camera.

Meanwhile, in order to support the best performance, XPERIA Arc has been armed with Qualcomm 1 GHz CPU chipset and 512 MB of RAM. As for the purpose of storing data, in addition to internal memory, the Sony Ericsson XPERIA Arc also equip themselves with a microSD card slot. Reportedly 8 GB microSD card available in the sales package.

Not only that, XPERIA Arc also comes with features HSDPA connectivity, Wi-Fi, and GPS navigation devices. Also, Bluetooth and microUSB port as a data transfer path with other media. There is also a 3.5 mm audio jack and an HDMI port, which can be used to display images and video resolution of HD to an external monitor.

Possibly, this Sony Ericsson smart phone will be available in the market at the end of the first quarter of this year. But for the price of the Sony Ericsson has not yet officially inform.
